In 1930, Mr. EM Humphrey found that Tea Tree leaves contained an essential oil which showed antiseptic and bacterial properties 13 times stronger than carbolic acid: the accepted standard of the time.

Dr. Humphrey identified Tea Tree oil’s disinfectant action on the typhoid bacilli was sixty times greater than that of ordinary hand soap and Tea Tree in the 1940’s became standard issue in first aid kits for the Australian Armed Forces.

Top 10 Uses for Tea Tree Oil

  1. Treat acne or prevent cold sores from spreading with a few drops of Tea Tree.
  2. Dissolve a wart by applying few drops every morning and every evening at bedtime.

While Tea Tree Oil should never be ingested and is only rarely used without diluting it’s full strength, it’s practical applications are incredible!

Thieves Oil Recipe

image14This is a very, very old recipe used to ward off sickness and plague.

The story behind the oil recipe is: Four men in the early 1400’s were caught in the act of robbing the homes and graves of plague victims. They were sharply arrested and brought before a magistrate. The court debated their sentencing and then decided to grant them leniency if they were willing to share the secret and potent recipe they used to ward off the plague.

The recipe they divulged was a blend of clove, lemon, cinnamon, eucalyptus and rosemary. The combination of oils made an extremely effective bactericide, germicide and virucide.

Recipe One:

Clove Essential Oil – 40 drops
Lemon Essential Oil – 30 drops
Cinnamon Essential Oil – 20 drops
Eucalyptus Essential Oil – 15 drops
Rosemary Essential Oil – 10 drops

Recipe Two: Blend of  clove, lemon, cinnamon, eucalyptus and rosemary essential oils in equal parts.

Thieves Oil can be used as an air cleaner, added to steaming baths and used when travelling in order to purify surfaces and air.  Try  out each of the different recipes that you can try out to ward off modern day bacteria, viruses and plagues.
