Salt bowls are a really easy way to receive the benefits of Aromatherapy throughout your home. Salts will retain scents for a considerable time and can also be refreshed whenever you wish!

An easy aromatherapy recipe:

2 ounces (60 ml) of any type of Salt, coarse, medium or fine.

Many different types and colours of salts can be found at your local bulk food
store. All work equally well for this type of application.

Drizzle approximately 60 drops (one teaspoon) of Essential Oil over the salts. The salts will absorb the aromas and then release them back into the room slowly.

Hot Tips:

* You must use a glass bowl: essential oils will destroy plastic containers.

* If you have a cold or congestion, make a salt bowl that includes Eucalyptus, Aniseed, Camphor or any other essential oils with a decongestant properties.

* If you have a sleeping problem use the calming essential oils such as Lavender, Patchouli or Clary Sage.

Salt bowls can be picked up and the aroma deeply inhaled whenever extra comfort is needed.
